Five must-haves of the week

No matter how you look at it, we’ve already gotten off to a flying start in 2022. Here on the West Coast of the United States, heavy and persistent rains are doing what they can to repair years of drought in the Southwestern United States. United States. The east coast also experiences a lot of rainy weather. As they say on the salt pans: When it rains, it rains.

This adage is rather true in industry news this week. Therefore, my must-reads include a celebration of longevity in business, the launch of our next space telescope, and the sale of equipment for printing electronics. On a more circumspect note, we also bring you the CPI’s report on rising material and labor costs, as well as an article on cybersecurity.

Hanwha Techwin Automation Americas celebrates its 45th anniversary. To many of us, we originally know Hanwha Techwin as Samsung C&T Automation. The company started in the machine tool business in 1977. Hanwha has led the market in the development of chip assembly equipment and now produces a wide range of electronic assembly equipment.
